From the Path

Notes from coaches and members on our most popular routes.

Keren Hayesod Loop

Our home trail starts right from the studio at 18 Keren Hayesod Street. A flat 5.2 km loop through open desert scrub — perfect for first-timers learning trail pacing on sand.

Coach Miriam runs Sunrise Crew warm-ups here every morning. The copper light at 05:45 makes this the most photographed route in our catalog.

  • Surface: compacted sand and gravel
  • Elevation: 40m total gain
  • Best time: sunrise (05:30–07:00)
  • Water stations: 2 marked points

Canyon Ridge

The technical heart of our Trail Sprint program. Narrow paths between sandstone formations with switchback climbs that test foot placement and balance.

Members call the final 2 km descent "the reward" — a fast sandy drop with views across the Be'er Sheva basin. Not for beginners, but unforgettable.

  • Surface: rocky with sand sections
  • Elevation: 180m gain over 8.7 km
  • Best time: early morning before heat
  • Wildlife: ibex sightings common
